This Privacy Policy describes how Apunta (the "App"), operated by JHON MORENO ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information.

1. What Data We Collect

Apunta is designed to be local-first. Most of your data never leaves your device.

• Expense data (amounts, categories, descriptions): Stored locally on your device using SwiftData. Never sent to our servers.
• Receipt photos: Stored only on your device. Not uploaded to any server.
• Expense text you type: When you write in natural language (e.g. "coffee 6000, uber 12000"), this text is sent in real-time to DeepSeek AI through a secure proxy (Cloudflare Workers). The proxy does not store your text or any personal data — it only forwards it and returns the structured result.
• Location data: Used only on your device to trigger local reminders when you visit stores (geofencing). Location data is never transmitted to any server.
• App preferences (language, currency, theme): Stored locally in UserDefaults.
• Device identifiers: Collected by Google AdMob to display ads to free users. This is handled according to AdMob’s own privacy policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To interpret your natural language expenses using AI and categorize them automatically.
• To generate monthly statistics and insights (all processed locally).
• To show relevant local reminders based on your location (on-device only).
• To display non-intrusive banner ads to users without an active subscription (via AdMob).

3. Data Storage & Third Parties

We do not store your financial data, photos, or expense history on any server.

The only data that leaves your device is:

• Expense text sent to DeepSeek AI via our Cloudflare Workers proxy (the proxy does not log or store any user data).
• Device identifiers collected by Google AdMob for advertising purposes.

Third-party services we use:

• Google AdMob – for displaying ads to free users.
• DeepSeek AI – for natural language processing of expenses (via secure proxy that does not retain data).

4. No User Accounts

Apunta does not require login, registration, email, or any personal account. All functionality works entirely on your device.

5. Your Rights

You can:

• Request deletion of any data we may hold (contact us at the email below).
• Stop all data collection by simply uninstalling the App.
• Disable location-based reminders or ads at any time in the App settings.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information processed by the App. Since most data stays on your device, the main security relies on your device’s own protections (Face ID, passcode, etc.).

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date and, when required, requesting your consent.
